IN Style and Usage Guide The Dalton Whitfield Joint Development Authority has recently launched an intensive marketing campaign to help "brand" Greater Dalton. We want to communicate to the community, and to current and prospective businesses, the Good News about Dalton and Whitfield County. The campaign is built around the messages that Dalton is "IN" - we are "IN"ternational, "IN"viting, "IN"spired, etc. Accompanying these graphic standards guidelines is a messaging document that further defines the overall brand and key positive attributes about our community. We wanted to share these guidelines with the community because we want to make these materials accessible and usable by as many people as possible. But this is about more than just giving you a logo to use from time to time in promotional materials. Logos should be much more than attractive icons that state the name of a product or service. Today, they are designed to play a leading role in developing an identifiable brand – the “face” for a product or community it represents and an easy way for target audiences to identify, remember and connect with key messages. YOU CAN HELP! As a local business, church or organization, you can help in this important effort to spread the Good News about Dalton to your employees, colleagues, friends and members. We invite you to embrace the “IN” icon and make it your own! For example, a realtor might have signs made that say, “Move! ‘IN’ Special” or a church might produce a bumper sticker that says “IN”spired, followed by the church’s name, that could be used as a simple fund-raiser or audience expander. If you already have a local print advertising or billboard campaign, please consider adding the “IN” icon to some of your own materials as well. Use the links below to download the Graphic Standards Guidelines PDF file (left click to view, right click to download) and the In Style graphics package zip file. The graphics package has all the logos in high and low rez jpeg files as well as PDF and EPS files.
